Val has been nationally recognized for Goldwell’s Design Cutting Team, selected among 500 specialists as one of the 20 most distinguished in the industry, focusing on teaching techniques that foster creativity and overall salon performance. As a Goldwell Artist ® and owner of Hairsay Salons, Val has dedicated 16 years to honoring his craft, and continues to do so, interpreting the latest trends, styles, and techniques in hair cutting and coloring. As part of the Goldwell’s Design Team, Val was instrumental in launching the 2016 Kerasilk Collection nationally, and regularly works on projects with the Goldwell® brand.

He has trained under some of the nation’s best stylists and educators helping to make him one of the most sought after stylists. Val’s dedication and commitment to educating himself, and his team, distinctively classifies him as one of the best in the salon industry. Val has put in place a successful apprenticeship program that allows all his stylists to have the same core training and workmanship.
