What’s in Kate Middleton’s Make-up Bag?

The Duchess of Cambridge is a vision of beauty! With her signature high-gloss, blown-out hair, flawless complexion, rosy cheeks and natural smoky eye, Kate Middleton has really got the natural beauty look perfected. Meet the team behind the scenes who make her look extra gorgeous! We’ll also learn what’s in the Duchess’ make-up bag.

Introducing, make-up artist Arabelle Preston, the woman who taught the Duchess to do her own make-up and is often around for big events such as the Royal Wedding. Arabelle has launched her own amazing skincare line. This line is a favorite of the Princess and keeps her skin dewey and sublime. There are many fantastic products to choose from: three facial oils, a toning serum and a cleansing oil. The all-natural ingredients list is comprised of plant oils (grape seed, sunflower seed, apricot kernel, avocado and rosewood), only the best, and most natural ingredients are used.  Kate massages Votary’s Cleansing Oil into her skin and follows that with a hot towel so it penetrates into her skin.

Her hair is always exquisite, meet hair stylist Richard Ward who is one of her favorite stylists, and he dishes on how to get that sleek, Royal blow-out.  First he sprays her hair with a conditioning treatment to protect it from the heat and then he uses a Mason Pearson brush to comb it through.  Then he takes a large rounded brush and gently blows her hair out with a signature bouncy curl at the ends of her layered hair. Her go-to product? L’Oreal primer spray!  And it takes a while too, A Kate Middleton blow dry takes about 45 minutes on average!

Rounding off her list of make-up favorites, we have Orgasm Blush by Nars, Lancome definicils mascara, Lancome face powder in Dual Finish and lipstick by Rimmel in Moisture Renew. Do you want to look like Royalty?  Contact us at Hairsay salon for an appointment today!
